My Journey Through the Coors Western Art Young Guns Rhinestone Rodeo
Introduction
This year, I had the honor of being selected as a Club artist for the prestigious Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale, a highlight of my artistic career. My journey began with the Young Guns Rhinestone Rodeo, an event that showcases the talents of emerging artists while supporting the National Western Scholarship Trust. As a member of this vibrant community, I was thrilled to contribute to the promotion and appreciation of western art.
The Inspiration Behind My Work
My artistic vision is deeply rooted in the serene expanses of the western skies, embodying a sense of peace and nostalgia. For the Rhinestone Rodeo, I was tasked with creating up to six paintings—three larger pieces and three smaller companions. The planning phase kicked off in early June, giving me ample time to imbue each piece with the essence of the West I cherish so deeply.

Highlights of the Young Guns Rhinestone Rodeo
I extend my deepest gratitude to Kate Hlavin and Grace Weihs for their impeccable curation and organization of the event. Meeting admired fellow artists like Debbie Carrol and Ezra Tucker was an unforgettable highlight, further enriching my experience at the Coors Western Art Show.
Looking Forward
The success at the Young Guns Rhinestone Rodeo afforded me a fantastic opportunity to replenish my offerings for the upcoming Coors Red Carpet Event. This cycle of creation and presentation, fueled by the support of the art community, inspires me to continue exploring and expressing the boundless beauty of the West.
